The PMGB and Miro
What is Miro? Miro is an “online collaborative whiteboard platform.”
Which means you can not only replicate face-to-face experiences such as brainstorming, using sticky notes, but also take these to the next level. It allows people to collaborate in much more sophisticated ways because it is limitless in size, incorporates multiple formats of digital images, allows each person to interact in real time and participate in those interactions with the group.
It facilitates asynchronous communications, allows for a hub of knowledge, facilitates comments and feedback from people across multiple platforms and time zones.

Why does the PMGB rely on Miro?
The PMGB is premised on utilizing collaboration to create a culture of freedom and responsibility and truly make projects and project teams successful To do this effectively requires a platform that work works in face-to-face, distributed and hybrid situations. We have explored, tested, created experiences, templates, workshops and performed consulting engagements extensively to be able to truly understand not only the power of the platform but also the limitations.
Miro is truly committed to collaboration, in their product development and their community development and the PMGB’s leading role in that community has given us a unique ability to not only understand what is possible but to truly explore and stay at the leading edge of what will be possible with Miro.

I really enjoyed working with the Project Management GameBoard and Annie MacLeod—I found we were able to really quickly get work accomplished and decisions made on our project using their tools and techniques. This was very unique compared to other consulting engagements I’ve experienced which can be more conversational and less action-oriented.
The Project Management GameBoard was clear, organized and exactly what we needed. We were able to move from a bunch of great ideas to launch a new service offering – online learning. We generated an executable plan in just 3 short workshops. I would start every new project this way!

I really enjoyed working with Annie and learning some new facilitation tools – it was great to get some insights on practical applications of my Agile People Ops training from TeamIt and really go deep with retrospectives”
